My Chinese name is 王弢. I publish as Tao Wang and go by Eve Wang in everyday life.
My professional background spans financial analysis and data modeling. I am used to bringing separate pieces of information together, finding the relationships between them, and examining how one change affects another.
The stories shared through Read My Life brought that same attention to people’s everyday experiences.
Numbers need context. Stories have patterns. Whether I am writing a book or developing an app, I want to make complex ideas easier to understand—and useful enough to act on.
After immigrating to the United States, I chose an English name for myself: Eve.
For me, the name carries a wish for gentleness, compassion, and inner strength. The biblical story of Eve also reminds me of human imperfection. We can be tempted. We misjudge. Sometimes, we understand the consequences of a choice only after making it.
I hope to face my mistakes honestly, take responsibility, and keep the courage to begin again. Remembering our limitations helps me listen a little longer and resist the urge to judge too quickly.
Wang is my Chinese family name. It connects me to my family, my language, and where I come from. Eve is the name I chose as I began a new chapter of my life.
That is the spirit I hope to bring to RML Media.
If you would like to know how RML Media began, read our origin story. If you would like to see the work, start with a book or an app.
